GIRLS TEAM ACADEMY (LINDON)
SOUTH ACADEMY
Team Academy is our introductory club team program for beginner to intermediate players, ages 8-15. There are no tryouts for Team Academy -- players will be evaluated during the first 2 weeks of practices in January and then placed on teams according to age and skill level. Teams will compete in 3 local tournaments sponsored by Club V and/or AAU.
Team Academy will focus on individual skill improvement, team development, and introduce players to the personal habits required to play competitive volleyball in a fun and positive environment. A pre-season parent information meeting will be held Dec. 3rd 6:30p-7:30p.

Beginner: 0 - 1 year experience (Needs to be taught the technical skills of Overhand Serving, Passing, Setting, Hitting and Blocking and using a pass set hit system)
Intermediate: 2 - 3 years experience (Knows all skill techniques, but needs to build mastery & consistency Overhand Serving, Passing, Setting, Hitting, Blocking. Is playing 3 Touch Volleyball. Is developing Tactical Offensive & Defensive Skills & 60% Mastery of them.)
Advanced: 4+ years experience (Knows how to communicate well with coach and team and consistently and aggressively execute all technical skills. Is consistent in running an offensive and defensive system and knows the variety of offensive & defensive strategies .)

MLK SKILLS CAMP

MLK Skills Camp is for Beginning to Intermediate players ages 8-15. Campers are divided into groups according to their level of experience regardless of age. Focus is on skill enhancement and games. So get your player out of the house and on to the volleyball court to work their volleyball fundamentals.

BOYS DTS TRAINING
SOUTH ACADEMY
Saturday (Adv. - Boys) This is where habits are made! Boys DTS is replacing our Boys Saturday Skills sessions and is a 3 1/2 month long training system for advanced players that provides athletes with:
DTS (Developmental Technical System) provides technical instruction with high technical reps.
Focus being on body control, coordination training, movement training and tactical understanding.
You cannot outperform your habits over time. Habits are formed with consistency and takes hours and hours of deliberate focus and training.

BOYS SATURDAY LEAGUE
SOUTH ACADEMY
Boys 4 v 4 League is 5 weeks of skills training and competition, featuring skills training on Mondays (1/22, 1/29, 2/5, 12/12) and gameplay on Saturdays (1/20, 1/27, 2/10, 2/17, and 2/24). Games are 4-vs-4 to maximize touches and gameplay. League will include Mon Skills Training 7:30p-9p and Sat. games 6p-7:30p. Players will be divided into teams by age and skill level and then play games to 21pts.
(Special Note - League will meet on 2/3 but will be a skills night not a game night.)
The first 2 weeks of the league will be evaluation days to assess players’ skill levels and divide into teams with official pool play games starting on 2/3 and Play-offs on 2/24. We are excited to offer this league to our boys.
