GIRLS TEAM ACADEMY (HIGHLAND)

SOUTH ACADEMY

Team Academy is our introductory club team program for beginner to intermediate players, ages 8-15. There are no tryouts for Team Academy -- players will be evaluated during the first 2 weeks of practices in January and then placed on teams according to age and skill level. Teams will compete in 3 local tournaments sponsored by Club V and/or AAU. 

Team Academy will focus on individual skill improvement, team development, and introduce players to the personal habits required to play competitive volleyball in a fun and positive environment. A pre-season parent information meeting will be held Dec. 3rd 6:30p-7:30p.

• PRACTICE TIMES:

  • 3 Hours of Team Training Per Week U15’s & Younger

  • Fridays and Saturdays

  • Friday - Start Time: 4PM // End Time: 5:30PM

  • Saturday - Start Time: 9:00AM // End Time: 10:30AM

  • One Jersey

  • Two Practice Shirts

BOYS TEAM ACADEMY

The Boys Highland Team Academy program provides training and team competition for boys and runs Sept. 8th - Nov. 18th. There are no tryouts for Team Academy -- players will be evaluated during the first 2 weeks of practices and then placed on teams according to age and skill level. Teams will compete in 3 local tournaments and participate in at least 2 "Friday Night Light" Practices with additional Skills Training Opportunities. Team Academy will focus on individual skill improvement, team development, and introduce players to the personal habits required to play competitive volleyball in a fun and positive environment.

Program Details: 

·        3 month season (10 weeks); Sept 8th - Nov. 18th (No Training 10/20 & 10/21)

·        Practice Times:

o   Fridays | 6:30p-8:30p &  Saturdays I 12p-2p

·        Uniform Package; including 1 Jersey, 2 practice shirts, drawstring bag

·        3 Local Tournaments (Oct., Nov.)

o   Oct. 7th Club V Friendship (Lindon)

o   Oct. 28th Club V Friendship (South County)

o   Nov. 11th Club V Friendship (Lindon)

·        2 Friday Night Lights/Scrimmages

o   Sept. 22nd 5:30p-7:30p (Lindon)

o   Oct. 6th 5:30p-7:30p (Lindon)

·        Boys All Skills Clinic & Rust Buster Camp

·        Cost: $669 plus cost of uniform (uniform cost determined by supplier)

·        Payment Options: Pay in Full or $169 deposit + $125/month for 4 months (beginning Sept. 20th) additional Payment Plan options
